Why Utilize Dog Daycare?

Many pet owners work all day and leave their dogs home by themselves for hours on end. It is not unusual for these owners to come home to animals that are hyperactive and/or stressed-out. Those with separation anxiety may even cause destruction, harm themselves, or bother neighbors with constant barking and howling.

Dog daycare is a great alternative for pet owners. Dog daycare works similarly to a daycare for children. You drop off your dog before work in the morning, and they spend the day with us playing, training, and engaging in enrichment activities before you pick them up after work.

Our daycare is specifically designed to accommodate dogs of every social spectrum. We offer supervised group play for dogs that enjoy the company of other canines, and we also offer a specialized enrichment program for our pups that prefer spending time with humans.

Our top priority is getting to know each dog on an individual level to better understand their social needs. For pups that are compatible in our group play program, they are separated into playgroups that best suit their playstyle, activity level, size, and social preferences. These playgroups rotate throughout the day to ensure each pup gets plenty of playtime but also get some crucial rest breaks to keep their play polite.

Our daycare program is run by certified dog trainers and is always fun, but we also incorporate training into the program by reinforcing good behaviors while ignoring the less desirable ones. We are always monitoring body language and behaviors during play to ensure the comfortability and well being of each dog. Throughout the day we will encourage sitting for attention from staff rather than jumping, we will work on proper door etiquette and of course recall. Learning these behaviors with positive methods helps to create a more structured and fun playgroup.
